The statistical observation for frequency of occurrence of the anencephalus

Description
During the period from January 1967 to August 1974, 14308 delivery cases of Korean women have been observed in the Ewha Womans University Hospital for determining congenital anormalies, especially anencephalus. The results obtained are as follows: 1)The fetal congenital anormalies of 109 cases(0.76%) was detected in the total 14308 delivery cases. 2) The 5 cases (23%) was anencephalus (84%) caused by medication of the Herb and Occidental drugs in early pregnancy period within 3 months
