Measurement of soil gas radon at Amritsar

Description
Radon signals are continuously monitored for several months over a single non-mineralized site. The recorded emanations showed the impulsive increase considerably larger than the meteorologically induced variations. The anomalous radon values served as precursory signals to some of the earthquakes that followed in the region. (author). 4 figs., 16 refs
