Study of the distribution of M1 radiative strength from resonance-averaged neutron data
Description
The energy distribution of M1 radiation in resonance-averaged neutron data varies as Eγ4-6 for 18 nuclei with A>95. Such a dependence is consistent with the M1 strength concentrated in a broad resonance centered at 8-9 MeV. (author)
