Thomson scattering measuring device using high sensitivity photomultipliers: 16% up to 860nm
Description
Photomultipliers with high quantum efficiency were used to observe the entire rubis laser light spectrum scattered by a plasma. The optical and electronic acquisition device used to study this spectrum is described. The spectra obtained revealed a dissymmetry larger than that expected from relativistic theory. These results could not be interpreted. The diagnostic sensitivity allows the measurement of low electron densities (2.1012ecm-3)

L'utilisation de photomultiplicateurs a rendement quantique eleve a permis l'observation integrale du spectre de lumiere diffusee par un plasma pour un laser a rubis. Ce rapport decrit l'ensemble du dispositif optique et electronique d'acquisition du spectre de lumiere diffusee. Les spectres obtenus presentent une dissymetrie superieure a la dissymetrie prevue en theorie relativiste. L'interpretation de ces resultats n'est pas resolue. La sensibilite du diagnostic permet de mesurer de faibles densites electroniques (2.1012ecm-3)Files
