Superconducting magnet system for operation at 13 K
Description
For a superconducting magnet system with a superconducting magnet coil, which is wound from a superconducting wire at high critical temperature, such as for example a niobium-tin filament ambedded in a bronze matrix or niobium carbonitride layers on carrier fibres, where the magnet coil is cooled by a two-stage cryo-generator to working temperatures of about 130K, it is proposed that the current feed for the magnet coil should be via a flux pump. The flux pump consists of a transformer with primary winding and secondary winding and superconducting switches. The superconducting wires of the magnet coil, the transformer and the superconducting switches consist of a material of high critical temperature. (orig./GG)

Fuer ein supraleitendes Magnetsystem mit supraleitender Magnetspule, welches aus einem supraleitenden Draht hoher kritischer Temperatur, wie beispielsweise in einer Bronzematrix eingebettete Niobzinn-Filamente oder auf Traegerfasern aufgebrachte Niobcarbonitridschichten, gewickelt ist, wobei die Magnetspule durch einen zweistufigen Kryogenerator auf Betriebstemperaturen von etwa 10 bis 13 K gekuehlt wird, wird vorgeschlagen, dass die Stromeinspeisung fuer die Magnetspule ueber eine Flusspumpe erfolgt. Die Flusspumpe besteht dabei aus einem Transformator mit Primaerwicklung und Sekundaerwicklung sowie supraleitenden Schaltern. Die supraleitenden Draehte der Magnetspule, des Transformators und der supraleitenden Schalter bestehen aus einem Material hoher kritischer Temperatur. (orig./GG)Files
