Experts mull over radioactive waste disposal

Description
The experts met last month in Denver at an International Symposium on the Management of Wastes from the LWR fuel cycle. Development of nuclear power and reprocessing of the resulting waste in the European countries and the U.S. are discussed. The need for international cooperation and standards is pointed out. Decommissioning of old reactors and facilities is also considered
