Mammography of partial resected and irradiated breasts

Description

Thirty seven patients with breast cancer stage T1 have been treated by tumorectomy or quadrantectomy and radiation therapy. Mamographic changes as skin thickening and parenchyme reaction were described and put in correlation between the end of treatment and mammography controls. Differential diagnostic problems are discussed. (orig.)

Abstract (German)

Anhand von 37 Faellen teilresezierter und nachbestrahlter Patientinnen mit Mammakarzinom im Stadium T1 wurden die mammographisch fassbaren, postoperativ und post radiationem auftretenden Veraenderungen aufgezeigt. Die Veraenderungen an Kutis und Brustdruesengewebe wurde in bezug auf Erstbehandlung und Kontrolluntersuchungen analysiert. Auf differentialdiagnostische Probleme wurde eingegangen. (orig.)
