Tcsup(99m)-labelled radiopharmaceuticals for renal scintigraphy
- 1. Upstate Medical Centre, Syracuse, New York (USA)
- 2. Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Allied Sciences, Delhi (India)
Description
Tcsup(99m)-Sn-glucoheptonate and Tcsup(99m)-S-mannitol have been prepared for renal scanning by modifying the reported methods. The amount of free Tcsup(99m) at pH 6.5 was less than 1.0 % in both the preparations as compared to 10 % by the reported techniques. The complexes should be used within two to three hours of preparation. The preparations are simple and take only about 10 minutes after extraction of Tcsup(99m). (author)
