Evidence for non-Lorentzian shape of X-ray spectra
Description
Deviations from the Lorentzian shape of the high-energetic atomic line tail observed in heavy ion collisions can be explained by perturbed initial conditions which are due to the vacancy production. The present calculation for the Ni + 39 MeV Ni system shows a good agreement with the experimental result of the Dubna group. (author)
