Description
The computer control system for the ISR undergoes continuous development, and yet must maintain high reliability and security. CAMAC has been employed for most improvements and developments of the ISR since 1972, with a marked degree of success. The present parallel branch system will shortly be supplemented by serial highways. Measures taken to adapt CAMAC hardware and software to the specific needs of control systems are described
