Energy dependence of the gamma detection efficiency for CaSO4(Dy) and BaSo4(Dy) thermoluminescent detectors
Description
The aim of the work was to make the.rmoluminescent detector with abnorm sensibility to low energy gamma-rays. BaSO4(Dy) phosphorus, the detectors were made of, was synthesized. Response functions of BaSO4(Dy) and CaSO4(Dy) detectors were measured for energy of some isotope sources. Measurement data are compared with calculation results of suggested routine formula. Measured and calculated response functions shows a good agreement. Perspective for using investigated detectors for unfolding gamma and bremsstrahlung energy distributions is mentioned
