Equilibrium equations for an open confinement system with an omnigenous magnetic field

A system of equations describing the equilibrium of a plasma for an omnigenous magnetic configuration of an open confinement system is formulated. A solution is found for this system of equations in the paraxial approximation for small but nonzero plasma pressures
