Variations in interferometer types

Creators

Description

The salient features of variations of interferometer types, where Bragg diffracting single crystals are used for beam handling, are discussed with respect to neutron interferometry. The influence of interference contrast and available spectral distribution of the neutron source on interferometer design is considered. Features of two-component interferometers (both the Laue case and the Bragg case), three-module Bragg case interferometers, four-module Laue case interferometers, mixed Bragg-Laue case interferometers and three beam interferometers are examined.
