Effects of nuclear decay on atomic electron rearrangements
Description
Experimental and theoretical research on K-shell internal ionization and excitation (K-IIE) accompanying β decay, X-ray internal conversion and nuclear electron capture is briefly reviewed. New studies to get a better understanding of these phenomena are required both in experiment and theory. (orig.)
