Noisy sine-circle map as a model of chaotic phase synchronization

Description

The sine-circle map driven by noise with bounded amplitude is shown to be a model exhibiting the characteristics of chaotic phase synchronization (CPS). Two different routes to CPS corresponding to the observation by Osipov et al. are also explained by the present model. (author)
