Description

The paper mainly discussed the distribution and correlation character of wall rock alteration and their relation to fault and uranium mineralization in Gaoping area by assigning data to alteration intensity of drill core and making contour, calculating correlation index between alterations and their relation to uranium mineralization in the hanging wall and foot wall of Huangxi fault, and comparing alteration intensity with the rock of Indo-Chinese and Yanshanian pluton in major, trace elements and REE. Through comprehensive study, the difference in hanging wall and foot wall of Huangxi fault was summarized, and found that the hanging wall of Huangxi-fault had been destroyed heavier and eroded much than the footwall and the ration of Fe3+/Fe2+ and LREE/HREE in the wall rock may play an reference role for the uranium prospecting in Gaoping area.
