Synthesis and study of NH4NbUO6 · 1.5H2O

Description
The results of the exploration into the conditions of formation and physicochemical properties of the NH4NbUO6 · 1.5H2O composition compound are demonstrated. The compound was obtained using ion exchange method by the reaction between polycrystal αKNbUO6 phase and saturated ammonium chloride solution. From the results of element analysis the composition of ammonium uranoniobate is consistent with the Nb2O5 · 2UO3 · 2NH3 · 4H2O formula. The structure of the prepared compound and its thermal degradation were studied by means of X-ray diffraction, IR spectroscopy and thermal gravimetric analysis. In the NH4NbUO6 - H2O system the crystal hydrates with the 1.5 and 1 molecules of water per formula, as well as anhydrous phase with the NH4NbUO6 composition were formed

Представлены результаты исследования условий образования и физико-химических свойств соединения состава NH4NbUO6 · 1.5H2O. Соединение получали методом ионного обмена по реакции взаимодействия поликристаллической фазы αKNbUO6 с насыщенным раствором хлорида аммония. Согласно результатам элементного анализа состав уранониобата аммония отвечает формуле Nb2O5 · 2UO3 · 2NH3 · 4H2O. Методами рентгенографии, ИК спектроскопии и термографии изучены строение полученного соединения и процесс термораспада. В системе NH4NbUO6 - H2O образуются кристаллогидраты с 1.5 и 1 молекулами воды на формульную единицу, а также безводная фаза состава NH4NbUO6Additional details
