Automatization of mass spectroscopic measurements by the ROMS-2A radiometric mass spectrometer using the SM-4 computer and CAMAC equipment

Description

The on-line measuring system based on the ROMS-2A mass spectrometer and SM-4 computer is described. The system enables to measure the mass peaks according to three parameters, as well as technological experimental parameters. 40 kHz signals are recorded in the computer random-access memory at fast response of the analog-to-digital converter of 10 μs. The flowsheet of the hardware-software complex and advancements made in CAMAC hardware for improving functional fast response are presented
