A conceptual model for quantification of power maneuverability

Description

The power maneuverability represents the plant operating capability to regulate the power adapting to the load changes. In this research, a new conceptual model for the quantification of power maneuverability is proposed. In the model, the power maneuverability is quantified in terms of the performance of power maneuvering system relative to the load demand. The model is used to demonstrate the effectiveness of the Plant Operations Regulator. The Plant Operations Regulator is an automatic limitation system provided in the nuclear plant for improvement of the power maneuvering capability. The findings of the research promise the usefulness of the model to the design and evaluation of the automatic limitation system
