On the influence of the fluid on the seismic response of FBR cores
Description
Up to now, the seismic analysis of FBR cores has always been performed ignoring the effect of fluid altogether, or, of it did not, using a gross approximation involving only an added mass to individual subassemblies and an increased modal damping. This paper attempts to clarify the role of the fluid and to quantify its effect on the core response
