Effect of extraction conditions of weakly-oxygen on superconducting properties of YBa2Cu3O7-x ceramics

Description
The paper studies the process of extraction of eveakly-bound pxygen from YBa2Cu3O7-x ceramics in the presence of casily oxidizing agent - 2,2,6,6 tetramethyl-1-oxypipyridine in 290-330 K range. It is shown that a system which is not homogeneous in terms of superconducting properties is formed under chemical binding of produced oxygen. Loss of superconductivity occures when ∼ 0.03 u.a. of weakly bound oxygen are removed. The results of chemical extraction are comparable with the data on vacuum thermodesorption
