On the fifteenth of march 2000 - Intervention of A.E.P.N. during the public meeting at Beaumont - La Hague in the frame of the public hearing relative to the Cogema la Hague facility and the La manche plant (CSM)

Description

Mister Bruno Comby, contributor during a public inquiry relative to the Cogema facility and the storage center, after having bring back the interest of fuel reprocessing for environment prevention asks three questions: what are the means that Cogema can implement in order to guarantee the objective zero sanitary impact considering the change capacity and its new mode of operating using more enriched in U 235 fuels and its higher burn-up rate. If it is possible to express more simply and more understandable by the public the release quantities to allow to anybody to better understand the concerned numbers and their meaning. The last question was: Will all the fuels stored at La Hague be treated one day. (N.C.)
