Device for obtaining information on the position of a radiation source
Description
Apparatus for obtaining information on the position of a radiation source, comprising: (a) a collimator containing a large number of slits having an open end directed towards the source and walls absorbing the gamma radiation, (b) a detector for the separate detection of the elements making up the beam passing through the slits and for providing output signals, the detector being fixed in relation to the collimator and comprising a number of detector components equalling the number of slits, so placed as to close the end of the corresponding slit, and (c) a positioner in conjunction with a component of the collimator and the source so as to modify the transversal position of the slits and the detector components in relation to the source

Appareil permettant d'obtenir des informations concernant la position d'une source de rayonnement, qui comporte: -un collimateur contenant un grand nombre de fentes presentant une extremite ouverte orientee vers la source et des parois absorbant le rayonnement gamma; -un detecteur destine a detecter separement les elements composants du faisceau passant a travers les fentes et a fournir des signaux de sortie. Le detecteur etant fixe par rapport au collimateur et comprenant un nombre d'elements detecteurs egal au nombre des fentes, places de facon a fermer l'extremite de la fente correspondante; et -un positionneur conjugue avec un element du collimateur et de la source de facon a pouvoir modifier la position transversale des fentes et des elements detecteurs par rapport a la sourceAdditional details
