Design for stimulation response drug dispatch system of precise release control function using soft graft by gamma-ray irradiation

Description

A micro spherical sharp of temperature response hydrogel was investigated basically for using as injection. Adjustment for micro-sphere of dextran was carried out using phase separation characteristics of the dextran and polyethylene glycol in aqueous solution. The particle diameter of the dextran micro-sphere was measured using a dynamic light scattering process. The particle diameter was at 1.5 μm on the average. Involvement rate of β-galactosidase in the dextran micro-sphere and it's release behavior were cleared. The β-galactosidase was released rapidly at an early time, and continued to release slowly. A temperature response polymer, poly-asparagic acid derivative was investigated also. The poly-asparagic acid derivative was indicated to loose the stability of β-galactosidase. (M. Suetake)
