The authors illustrate progress in computerized tomography stress the technical achievements that have been made during the last four years. The authors mailed a questionnaire to those workers who had published an article about CT scanning of the temporal bone during the last four years. For this purpose twenty different E.N.T. journals and the Index Medicus were consulted. An inventory of the answers is presented. (Auth.)
