Embryonic doses resulting from computed tomographic examinations are presented as calculated by a method based on results of Monte Carlo calculations using a ''female reference phantom'' (height 160 cm, weight 60 kg, diameters of the elliptical trunk 19 and 38 cm) as described by Kramer et al 1982.
