129I determination by x-ray spectrometry

Description

The aim of our study was to determine 129I in samples of a heterogeneous waste from Mochovce NPP. The heterogeneous waste was composed of the materials commonly used during operation, such as plastics, textile, gloves, and metal pieces. Dominant radionuclides in analyzed waste were 60Co, 58Co, 54Mn, 110mAg, 95Zr, 95Nb in the activity range from kBq kg-1 to 10 MBq kg-1.
