A Review of the radiation safety related training programmes of the radiological physics and advisory division

A team of experts upgrades these documents from time to time. Evaluation systems, course contents and practical work carried out by the trainers are revised form time to time to incorporate necessary changes. Considerable attention has been paid towards safety related training in the X-5-year plant of the country, by providing a special grant for upgradation of the programme. Under this programme, upgradation of laboratory facilities, library facilities, modern teaching aids and equipments and source room facility is currently under progress. Our approache and experience related to Human Resource Development in the area of radiation safety will be presented. (Author)
