Measurements of distribution function of boundary plasma of JFT-2M tokamak
- 1. Yokohama National Univ. (Japan)
Description
A divertor probe on the separatrix was used to measure electron velocity distribution. To accomplish this measurement, the electron to ion saturation current ratio should be large, but it is a function of ion temperature. To clear the relation, a particle-in-cell simulation code for a bounded plasma has been developed and used to study the sheath condition of a plasma with high ion temperature. A measured electron distribution function from the first derivative of probe currents are shown with measured ion temperature. (author)
