Search for heavy sequential leptons up to mass of 60 GeV from W+- decay

Creators

Description

We give the expectations for the decay of the W+- into a heavy leptons, a new neutrino and describe the properties of the daughter products in the decay. With a view towards a search for new leptons up to a high mass. There are two techniques to observe the new lepton: (i) observation of polarized leptons, (ii) observation of events with high mass jets and missing neutrino transverse energy. Calculations are in progress for W production at 540 GeV and 2000 GeV anti-pp colliders
