Boric acid adsorption from its aqueous solutions by a combined bentonite-starch sorbent

Description
Boric acid (BA) adsorption from water containing 3 mg/lBA is investigated on a combined bentonite-starch sorbent under static conditions. It is found that BA sorption from water is the most efficient at 1:1 bentonite and starch ratio. The combined sorbent of this composition is recommended to purify drinking water of boron
