Description
These proceedings represent papers presented at the seventh Beam Instrumentation Workshop hosted by Argonne National Laboratory of the U.S. Department of Energy. The topics covered include the development and demonstration of a subpicosecond bunch duration measurement technique based on autocorrelation of coherent transition radiation; diagnostics needs for the fourth-generation light sources; beam energy measurement; beam position measurement and beam profile monitors. There were 56 papers presented at the workshop, out of these, 34 have been abstracted for the Energy Science and Technology database
