Continuous γ-irradiation of Misgurnus fossilis L. eggs incubated with EDTA and caffeine

Description
It has been shown by the experiments on γ-irradiated Misgurnus fossilis L. eggs (dose rate, 10 R/hr) incubated in water or in the EDTA, or caffeine solutions, that the efficiency of the repair system of the cell that repairs primary chromosome damages is noticeably higher at the early imbryogenesis than at the stages of organogenesis. At the latter stages, the repair system decreases its activity drastically, and the level of the abberant anaphase yield is maintained stable by eliminating critically injured cells
