Composition dependence of the band gap of CuGasub(x)Insub(1-x)Se2 solid solutions

Description
Composition dependence of the band gap (Esub(g)) of CuGasub(x)Insub(1-x)Se2 solid solutions has been studied over the whole composition range (0 <= x <= 1) at 300 K and 77 K. Transmission spectra of single crystals were taken in the range from 6000 to 15000 cm-1. The absorption coefficient was calculated using the estimated transmission and reflection. It is shown that Esub(g) changes nonlinearly with composition
