New results in coherent phonon and Terahertz spectroscopies in semiconductors

Description

We have performed femtosecond coherent phonon and terhertz experiments in GaAs, GaAs/AlGaAs, InGaN/GaN, and GaN. In this talk, we will discuss: (1) Femtosecond coherent optical phonon oscillations in GaN (2)Femtosecond acoustic shock wave generation in InGaN/GaN (3)Terhertz generation using shaped pulses in laterally biased GaAs (4) Terhertz generation from biased InGaN/GaN LEDs
