Description

This work is a tentative of application of pattern recognition methods by computer, to analysis of neuro-physiology signals. During a classification step, the samples which must be recognized - spikes - are described by means of some attributes in the multidimensional representation space two ways of clustering have been used. The first one of graphic type builds a minimum spanning tree on the representation set and allows to make a hierarchy of samples according to their 'likeness'. The second one, a dynamic clusters method, aims at a clustering of samples. The first part is dedicated to a bibliography study. (author)

Abstract (French)

Ce travail est un essai d'application de methodes de reconnaissance de formes par calculateur, a l'analyse de signaux neurophysiologiques. Lors d'une phase de classification, les individus a reconnaitre - influx- sont decrits par un certain nombre d'attributs. Dans l'espace multidimensionnel de representation deux methodes de regroupement ont ete utilisees. L'une de type graphique construit un arbre minimal au sens d'une distance sur l'ensemble des points representatifs et permet de hierarchiser les individus selon leur 'ressemblance'. L'autre methode, des nuees dynamiques, vise essentiellement a un regroupement des individus. En premiere partie une approche bibliographique a ete faite. (auteur)
