Description
The frequency characteristic of a superconductor microbolometer conjugate to a frequency-independent antenna is calculated. The operating range of the receiver is defined by the conditions of a superconductor film matching antenna. For superconductor film dimensions of 10*2*0.1 μ m3 the frequency range of the system is 0.06-1.3 THz with the maximal sensitivity at 0.35 THz. Decreasing the dimensions of the microbolometer surface as well as using the multilayered load construction will allow the broadening of the range up to approximately 10 THz. (author)
