Transmission geometry supermirror neutron polarizer device
Description
The realistic performance of a ''polarizing cavity'' type transmission device has been evaluated using measured parameters of Si-CoFe supermirrors deposited on Si wafers. In a broad wavelength band a global polarization efficiency in excess of 95% is achieved at about 30% beam intensity loss. (orig.)
