On the theory of μ+-meson relaxation in matals
Description
Relaxation of the μ+ spin due to magnetic interaction with nuclei in a metal is considered. Expressions are given describing damping of the diffusible meson spin orientation vector. Interpretation of experimental data according to the expressions obtained is shown to lead to the necessity of a change in the life time of μ+ by several times which may apparently lead to the general change in temperature dependence of the life time
