Phase equilibria in Cu2Te-In2Te3-{Sb/Bi}2Te3 systems and crystal structure of CuIn5Te8 compound

Description
Isothermal sections of the phase diagrams of Cu2Te-In2Te3-Sb2Te3 and Cu2Te-In2Te3-Bi2Te3 systems at 670K were constructed from X-ray diffraction analysis data. The T-X diagram of Cu2Te-Sb2Te3 quasibinary system was built using differential thermal analysis. The homogeneity ranges of binary and ternary compounds were located. The crystal structure of ternary phase CuIn5Te8 was determined by means of X-ray powder diffraction analysis (SG I4bar, a=0.6134(2), c=1.23164(8)nm, Z=2)
