The value of computer-aided tomography of the brain in the acute period of arterial aneurysm rupture

The authors analyze the results of computer tomographic examinations of the brain, carried out in 49 patients in the acute period of rupture of intracranial arterial aneurysms. The examinations helped precisely identify the type of an intracranial hemorrage and its intensity and detect the complications developing in the early periods of the disease. The information obtained with the use of computer-aided tomography of the brain permits considering this method and obligatory one in aneurysmal ruptures
