Assembly and installation of MW level RF amplifier based on tetrode technology
- 1. ITER-India, Institute for Plasma Research, Gandhinagar (India)
Description
The Ion Cyclotron Heating and Current Drive (ICH and CD) system is expected to play an important role for heating and driving current of ITER plasmas. The same system will also be used for wall conditioning at low power level. The ICH and CD power source is design to couple 20 MW RF power into the plasma. This paper describes the assembly, integration and high power test results of the tetrode based amplifier chain at ITER-India test facility
