Input and preoperational material testing of selected equipment in V-1 nuclear power plant

The purpose of the check was to test the quality of the base material and the following most important parts of the Nuclear Steam Generating System: the reactor vessel and internals, the main circulating pipes and the volume compensator pipes, the main closure valves, the hydraulic parts of the main circulating pumps, the steam generators, the volume compensator, the filters for primary circuit water treatment, and the decay tank of the volume compensator. The methods used included: the visual, capillary and magnetic powder surface tests, ultrasound and radiographic material volume tests, the eddy current method, and the nondestructive print metallography. The test results were filed using a computer system. (Ha)
