180Hf energy levels

The data on the γ-ray spectra in the 179Hf (nγ)180Hf reactions on thermal and resonance neutrons have been analyzed. The levels of gamma-vibration band, the levels with Isup(PI) = 2+,4+ and 6+ of the band with K = 0, the levels with Isup(PI) = 4+ and 5+ with K = 4, are identified on the basis of the results of studying the 180Lu decay of the Coulomb excitation of 180Hf, the predictions of the generalized model and the systematics available being used. Other methods are discussed and conclusions are drawn on applicability of the statistical model for establishing spins and parities of states for primary γ transitions. Recommendations are given on the ways of studies, the analyses of low-excited 180Hf levels are described
