Description
The Am stars 68 Tau, 81 Tau, and 16 Ori in the Hyades and the field Am star 15 Vul are investigated by means of model atmospheres and high-dispersion spectra. The effective temperature, the acceleration due to gravity, the microturbulence velocity, and the abundances of the elements in the atmosphere are determined. The masses, radii, luminosities, and ages of the stars are obtained by comparison with evolution calculations. 11 references
