Pressure studies of the Fermi surfaces of α-U and UGe3

Measurements of the effect of pressure on four cross sections arising from open sheets of the Fermi surface of α-U have been obtained at pressure greater than or equal to 8 kbar generated in solid He. Also presented are preliminary values for the pressure dependence of two cross sections of the Fermi surface of UGe3
