Description

We have measured the heat capacity of the pressure-induced superconductor UIr by AC calorimetry under pressures up to 1.6GPa. The heat capacity shows an anomaly at the Curie temperature TC1, and this anomaly shifts to lower temperatures with increasing pressure. The present pressure dependence of TC1 was consistent with the results obtained by the previous resistivity and magnetization measurements
