On the theory of structural and phase transformation induced superplasticity

Description

A specified fluctuation superplasticity (SP) model is presented based on the assumption that the optimum SP temperature (Tsub(sp)) corresponds to the most developed interphase surface, other conditions being equal. Specifying the theory of Frenkel pretransition phenomena, it is suggested to analyze the alteration of themodynamic potential 0 of the system due to formation of new phase fluctuation nuclei in the precritical temperature range in the second approximation. Calculated and experimental data are presented for Ni, Fe, NiTi, Co57Fe3Ni40
