High-spin states in 92Zr

Description
High-spin states have been investigated with the 88Sr(7Li, p2n)92Zr reaction by γ-γ coincidence, γ-ray angular distribution, and pulsed beam-γ timing measurements with Ge(Li) detectors. Decay schemes, level energies, and spin-parity information were obtained for 92Zr from the data. The high-spin states involving the (π1g9/2)2(ν2d5/2)2 configuration were identified, with the (12+) member being at 4947 keV. Tentative identification of the members of the (π1g9/2π2p1/2)(ν2d5/2)2 configuration has also been made. The observed experimental levels in 92Zr are compared with recent theoretical calculations
