Level density of nuclei and pair interaction of superconductive type

Description

A simple analytical expression was obtained for density of excited states of nuclei in the framework of a model taking account of pair correlations of a superconducting type. Discussed are limitations existing in the above model imposed on matrix elements of correlation interactions. Energy dependence of the correlation function and matrix elements is compared with the results of calculations with the potential of the final radius
